What a fantastic exhibition for golf! It turned out the USA team won convincingly, but it was not clear until deep into the back nine of the matches today. Fabulous play by players on both sides. Patrick Reed and Rory McIlroy's match was over the top, and watching Phil and Sergio total 19 birdies between them was amazing!
Unlike the Cup itself, however, the winners of my contest are still unclear. Seven participants each totaled 19 points to tie for the top spot (See below). Since there are two prizes and seven tied for first, the committee (me) has decided that there will be a 5 hole putt off this coming Friday, October 7 at Woodcreek Golf Club beginning at 5:30pm SHARP!
The seven participants tied with 19 points, highlighted in yellow, are all invited. Please reply via email and tell me whether you will attend.
TOP Finisher will get the choice of the gift certificate for two green fees or a spot in the Legends Tournament with me at Woodcreek on Friday, October 21. Second place finisher will get the alternative prize. Don't worry, if you do not attend I'll have a drawing for one more prize for those who cannot make it: A gift certificate for 1 free green fee.
